We were tired of the status quo
So we started asking some tough questions: What if we stopped the internal competition? What if we collaborated with our employees, customers, and carriers so that everyone was successful?
SEND turned out to be the answer to all of those. Since 2013, we’ve spent every minute providing excellent service and building real relationships with our customers and carriers.
It was a simple approach that’s yielded some awesome results. We’re proud to say that we now have a loyal base of quality customers, many of which have grown their company with SEND. We’ve also built a dedicated fleet of some of the most reliable, experienced drivers in the industry.
Today we offer logistic services to customers in the lower 48 states and Canada. We serve the largest nursery and food distributors in the region and nation. And the collaboration we envisioned so long ago? It’s the very thing that makes us different, and makes SEND great.

When I saw Smokey and the Bandit as a child, I knew immediately that I wanted to be a truck driver when I grew up. Or at the very least, a CB radio owner. Sadly, neither of those dreams came to pass, so I ended up in the next logical career—freight logistics accounting. When I am not crunching numbers, I while away my time snarking with my husband, seeking out treasures for our tiki bar, solving crossword puzzles and enjoying outdoor adventures around Central Oregon.

Preston Fivecoat is the Director of Operations. He started at SEND in 2014, and has worked with most of our customers and carriers throughout his tenure here. (“It seems a lot like hunting, but with no chance to shoot anything,” he says. “What’s the point?”)

She lives in Central Oregon with her partner Charlotte and can’t get enough of the wildlife and outdoors. Kim has been with SEND since 2017 and is currently our Carrier Coach. Her job is to ensure that all of SEND’s loads are paired with the best carrier available. Kim is familiar with the trucking side of SEND as well; her husband had a trucking business for more than 45 years. Terri—or TT—is a Carrier Experience Specialist for the Carrier Team, building relations with our carriers, enhancing our service and profitability. Prior to her recent move to the carrier team, she was a Logisticizer, handling the Nestle account. She has handled this account since 2014, building relationships with Blue Triton, Uber and the customers. She’s a hands-on team member, loves to share her 44 years of knowledge with other team members and enjoys being involved with all the different aspects of logistics/customer service. She’s the primary contact for early morning/afterhours, which has given her the opportunity to get to know a lot of SEND’S customers and carriers. In 2020, she was awarded the “Captain SEND” award!
Outside of work, she spends time with her husband of 31 years, her two children and her puppy love, Khaleesi. Terri likes traveling, going to the movies, spending time with friends and the theater arts.

In 2017, we became employee-owned via the completion of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The driver of SEND’s success has always been its dedicated employees. And the best way to recognize their value was to give them ownership of the company they contribute to on a daily basis.
